Build your sorting sheet
Print at 100% (Actual size). The 2-inch line at the bottom of each page should measure exactly 2 inches. Mat-size sheets print on 11 × 17 paper at most office stores. Tip: slide the sheet into a clear polypropylene (PVC-free) sheet protector so coins never touch the paper, and check off finds with a dry-erase marker.

How to use these sheets
- Print at 100% (Actual size). The 2-inch line at the bottom of each page should measure exactly 2 inches.
- Protect your coins from the paper. These are simple paper printouts, and paper can be slightly abrasive. Slide the sheet into a clear polypropylene sheet protector marked PVC-free or archival, so coins never touch the paper, and check off finds with a dry-erase marker. Avoid soft vinyl (PVC) sleeves, which can leave a residue that damages coins.
- A gold space with ★ is a key date; a dashed space with ☆ is a semi-key. On the one-per-year sheets, small marks such as ★D show which mintmark of that year to look for.
- Check dates and mintmarks on your actual coins with a magnifier before making collection decisions.
