What spot price means
Spot is the current market price for immediate delivery of large, refined bars. Coins, small bars and jewelry change hands at their own prices, which can be above or below spot. See our coin melt values to turn spot prices into coin values, or work out a stack of coins with the coin melt calculator.
Prices come from JinglePig’s own price service, which checks a market data provider every few minutes. Each price shows its quote time, and a price that has not been refreshed recently is clearly marked. Read how we calculate melt values for details.
